University of Maryland wins first Cyber DiploHack Competition

The Center for Strategic and International Studies' Strategic Technologies Program and the Netherlands Embassy in Washington D.C. hosted their first-ever cyber policy hackathon. The winner is the team from the University of Maryland University College (UMUC).

Six teams from universities in the United States and Europe participated in an intensive, scenario-based policy hackathon to develop new approaches to cyber security and cyber capacity building. This event, Cyber DiploHack 2015, took place at CSIS headquarters on March 26 and 27.

Being the winner, team University of Maryland University College is invited to attend the upcoming Global Conference on CyberSpace. The conference which will take place in The Hague this week (16-17 April).
