This week the Global Conference on Cyberspace (GCCS) will be held in the World Forum in The Hague. This international conference will focus on a free and secure internet. Ministers, representatives of international organisations, business leaders, academics and representatives of civil society will participate in this conference and exchange ideas.
On the eve of the conference minister Koenders of Foreign Affairs, deputy minister Dijkhoff of Security and Justice and mayor Van Aartsen of The Hague will elaborate on the GCCS. During the press conference they will focus on the goals of the Dutch government regarding a free, open and secure internet and the preparations for the GCCS.

The press conference will be conducted in English. After the press conference there will be the opportunity to hold one-on-one interviews.
The central library is part of the City Hall of The Hague. Following the press conference there will be a welcome reception in the Atrium of the City Hall for all participants of the GCCS.
Media representatives who have registered for the press conference will also have access to the reception.
